Sahariah
Sahariah has been bellydancing for 4 years. She is inspired by middle-eastern
music and its culture. Her music interests are Solace, Asena, and tabla drum solos, as well as Egyptian. Her favorite dance
styles are Medzeke, Tribal, and Egyptian. She likes to add mystery to her dance with an exotic flare. Her favorite props are
veil, sword, cane, and zills. Sahariah hand dyes her own silk bellydance veils, and sells them on Ebay.

Saoirse
has been dancing for 6 years after stumbling upon a class and an
inspirational teacher in Salem,Oregon. She wanted to share that elated feeling to as many women as possible and
taught beginning dance in her hometown of Crystal Lake, Illinois. For three years she challenged them with new routines each
week including veil work and preparations for on stage performances. Her favorite rhythm to play on the zills is Beledi
but she will dance to anything!

Melina
Melina has been with Ancient Echoes since she returned to
her native Charleston in 2005. Her style favors the more expressive Turkish and Lebanese forms
of belly dance as well as American tribal-fusion. She particularly enjoys veil work and drum solos.
Inanna studied and danced with Nadirah Dance Company
in Salisbury, NC four years prior to moving to Charleston.She also danced with Jawharah Tribal Dance troupe for
one year during this the time. She moved to Charleston, SC in April 2007 and now dances and studies with
Shakti-Selene and the Ancient Echoes Belly Dance Troupe.Inanna loves the art and expression of all forms of belly
dance however, prefers the more traditional and earthy tribal dance.

Sarafina Originally from Austria, Europe. Sarafina came to The United States of America two years ago and discovered
Belly Dancing at a Christmas Party at work.She started studying Belly Dancing since March 2006 with Shakti-Selene.Her favorite Belly Dance preferences are: Veils,Sword and Fans.
